Rise>Dawn

Gattaca and the man from earth are my favourite movies.
Both low action dramatic sci fi.
Acting in the man from earth is a bit hokey, but I still like it.
>>68672397
this one's a lot of fun...but not the greatest sci-fi
>>68672100
edgy.
farscape
>>68672455
fantastic scenes and characters..iconic even
but movie as a whole isn't great
Sunshine until you see a knife, then promptly shut it off

Dawn would be better if not for the unfortunate human story.
>>68672830
That's a childhood fave
10/10
>>68672830
Similar plot to Interstellar?
bumparoo
Stargate
>>68671796
2001 and Solaris
The Quatermass trilogy (The Quatermass Xperiment, Quatermass II, Quattermass and the Pit) is one the most underrated series of science fiction movies I've seen. The writing is superb and even holds up today, and the special effects are top notch, considering the budget and the time they were filmed in.
Contagion
