photograph scene was scary.

When you're a kid watching it home alone late at night in the dark, yes. When you're an autistic cynical adult who can't enjoy anything, no.

in 2016.... i doubt it...

we all know stephen king isn't scary, he's more of a romance writer.

No, clowns are funny!

I remember watching it when it first aired and I had no idea what kind of movie it was. "It" did not tell me shit.

I was maybe 7-8 years old and I remember being terrified halfway through.

At night when I was supposed to sleep I remember being so scared when my parents went out for a cigarette that I ran downstairs and stood outside the front door in case of any clowns came while my parents were outside.

Life was fucking hell, guys.

this
the first half when they were kids it was genuinely creepy at some parts. the second half when they were adults was shit

It sounds like the only way that you could be scared of this movie is if you watched it as a kid. I mean, if your movie is only scary when you're a kid and the movie is meant for adults, then...that doesn't say too many good things about your movie, does it?

Same I was about 7 or so when I first watched it on tv not knowing anything about it. In the house where I used to live we had a large shower with no bathtub, I was terrified of taking showers for weeks, in my imagination I would always see the clown coming out from the drain.

it was scary when you saw it the first time at age 7-12.

in high school, when you were hanging out with your friends and you're drinking in samantha's basement, and they all want to watch a scary movie, and she happens to have the 2 vhs box of IT, and you watch it again as a young adult you realize how unscary it is. and how badly you want to go back and read the book because it's a fucking amazing book
