This is now a dubs thread.
I knew 50 year olds that said the books was just like real life. I think the movie cover shows an unrealistic reflection.
I think the movie was cool, it had you guessing what was real or not, unlike almost ANY MOVIE EVER, and made him the perfect batman and affleck can just suck a big bag of dicks.
Heath and Bale never a better movie.

It's not even a particularly well made movie but it's one of my all time favorites. It becomes a little sloppy towards the end but it's pretty perfect overall and it has aged like wine.

Solid 8 at the very least. Personally it's a 9 for me, and one of my favorite movies of all time. Though I can see how some people may not like it.
None of it is a dream. It's commentary on how vain and self-absorbed society is. He did have an bout of insanity at the end, but no one cares. A running theme of the movie is that no one can remember anyone else's name, that's how much they don't actually care.
Fucking love that dinner scene though. Where Bateman is just listing off vague "do-good" solutions for world problems, and the people around the table just mindless applaud his opinion.
