What was the last good Simpsons season?
10 was the plateau. Everything after is a non-stop downward spiral.

The last one with more good episodes than bad was season 10. After that it seems 50/50, and then around 13 it's just more awful shit than any single good joke

I agree though there are some episodes in season 11 and 12 that are okay.
Its weird looking back on the seasons just now, I can't believe I was still watching the show here and there up to season 14. Me losing interest in the show was much more gradual than I thought. I remember being disappointed by certain episodes as far back as season 9, but it seems like it was around season 12 did I stop watching it regularly.
S1 - 2 = Okay
S3 - 9 = Gold
S10 - 15 = decent time killer, Hit and miss, but mostly hit, at least these episodes are somewhat enjoyable
S16 - 18 = somewhat amusing tier
S19 - now = shit

Change season 2 to good and you're right. There was a huge change between season one and season two. Season one was like a different show in regards to animation, voice acting and character development.
