I've got an extremely rough cut of my noir short down. I'm pretty happy with it, I think it looks good for what it is, but it's far from perfect. Sound is absolute shit.

Will post soon.

Asking again, what can I substitute a kingdom for in a modern Hamlet adaptation?
Something that isn't a business or restaurant.

Exactly. Going over it again, it looks pretty much exactly like you'd think a student noir short would look, but fucking sue me this is the first actual short I've ever directed.

OP here again, this might take a bit longer than expected.

kek, everyones busy discussing capeshit

I have to make a short 30min documentary, which I believe is due next week. I'm not even a film student but the professor wants us to make one.
It's an architectural history class btw, am using wikipedia to get a few talking points. I rewatched Exit Through The Gift Shop yesterday and I might copypaste some of the narrators lines and change it so it fits with my project.

Should I stick with Windows Movie Maker (lol) or do it on Premiere, which I dont know how to use?

Premiere's pretty easy to get the hang of

Thanks!

Like I said sound is absolute shit, so I'm definitely gonna work on that. The acting's shit, but I can't do anything about that. Lighting, I've literally never done lighting before, so any tips on where to learn that are appreciated.
