Shit series? Seasons 1-3 are awesome. Season 4 is complete trash since they fired Dan Harmon and the writers fucked up all the characters. Harmon came back for 5-6 but the cast slowly started to disappear and the dynamic got all fucked up, though there's still some redeemable shit there. Also the finale was really strong.
the only thing twd has going for them is that they kill off main characters pretty regularly so it keeps the viewers wondering. besides that its pure boredom, and cringy as fuck dialogue with even worse acting ( im looking at you karl)

I can't do it anymore. I watched through 6 seasons and this last finale finally broke me.
It sucks because I like Jeffrey Dean Morgan and think he's probably gonna do a good job. I liked him in Magic City, too, even when the writing sucked in that show, also. The guy just can't catch a break.
Honestly, the Walking Dead season 6 finale was final proof that TV actors and shows (or whatever you want to call the A list, B list, C list, etc.) will always be on a lower tier than films. It deserves it.
I was one of those people that thought that TV really was going through some sort of renaissance and that with the changes in technology and new ways to watch (particularly being able to "binge" episodes), we'd truly see more interesting, in depth, stories. Essentially, the visual media equivalent to novels.
Nope. They're just selling time. Plain and simple. Tune in next week.
Don't get me wrong. I get it. It's a business. Trust me, I get it.
But with a movie, I get a story. I turn over my money and I get a character or characters that tell a story. (yes, yes, yes. I know there's product placement, etc., etc.).
I've finally realized, people aren't wired to sit through these 6 years and longer of fiction stories anyway. From ancient history through the ages, when people want a fiction, it doesn't take 7...8...9...10...years to tell it. From now on, I'm enjoying TV for what it truly is best for - live sports, news, late night comedy news wrap-up, etc.
When I want fiction and to be told a story, I'll turn to books and film.
TV truly is a lower tier.
