In the Prestige, Cutter helps Angier kidnap and bury alive Borden's ingénieure.
Later, however, Angier has Borden killed (through capital punishment), and suddenly Cutter thinks Angier went too far and conspires with Borden to kill Angier (you see them walk past each other and Cutter nods at Borden, also Borden goes to pick up his daughter from Cutter after its done).
Isn't that kind of hypocritical?
Is it because of Borden's daughter?
It's a film about doubles

Impressive
It is partly the daughter and partly that faking his death was too far.

Yeah, I think faking your death to get someone else killed by the law is a pretty easy way to lose peoples loyalty.

Checked.

Its not that simple. Cutter blamed Borden for the death of Julia, so he went along with Angier's revenge plot, because it wasnt actually dangerous, it was about getting the plans/trick.
Getting Borden killed is something entirely different.
One of my favourite quotes ever is when Angier tells Cutter that they have to go to Colorado.
>Obsession is a young man's game.
Thats when Cutter say: No more.

Took me fucking years to realize Bernard Falon was an anagram of Alfred Bordan

Bale was a clone, but he wasn't selfish and utilized the clone to perfect his act.
Otherwise how does Borden know who tesla is
