Why, Stew?
>>68252135
>Privatization
I didn't get that muslim joke he told in high pitched, muffled voice. Anyone care to explain?
christ I hate this twat
I think his """comedy""" is nonexistent

>>68252188
You're not allowed say that about Stuart Lee. Don't you know he's a genius? You just don't get him.
>>68252188

He was trying to impersonate Roy Chubby Brown, an anti-islamic comedian famous for unintentionally getting facts wrong in his jokes.
>We're at war with a country who believes in reincarnation!
He fell through the bar, Stew!
Saw him live in October. He was fucking awesome!
The comedy of this comedy is that it's not actually comedy. It's not actually funny, and that's what makes it funny. You wouldn't get it. It's not funny, and he knows it's not funny, and he says it's not funny, and that's why it's funny. He makes fun of himself, although he's not very funny when he does make fun of himself, for not being funny, although he does it in such a way that suggests he actually think he's very funny. It's not hilarious at all, and that's why it's hilarious. You literally just wouldn't get it.

>unintentionally getting facts wrong
Chubby pls
>>68253619
He is actually funny when he chooses to be, see
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cbe5o3Mmkfg
He come out Stew, and he said to a man in the front row: "What do you do do for a living?" And the man answered that he worked for Esso or Shell, or one of those companies, and Tom O'Connor said "are you a sardine?"
...
I have remembered it wrong, yes.
The shareholders' dividends were ring-fenced against pirate zombie infestations.

The cat's feet towel is what elevates this routine to the level of greatness.
>>68253705
>I vomited into the gaping arsehole of Christ
>>68253747
DOG?
>>68253705
I agree. His normal routine, though, is more like BF Skinner doing a funny voice, with him conditioning his audience to laugh at quick succession of self-referential gags, and then you see them all online, such as in this thread, repeating them. I don't know which is worst thing about Stewart Lee, his fans or his Guardian articles.
>>68253790
>you see them all online, such as in this thread, repeating them
What comedian is more quotable?
>Besides people saying 'no respect'
Did anyone catch Season 4 of his Comedy Vehicle? There's a lot of rehashed material in there.
>>68253686
Well it was unintentional
>>68252382
This is this.
THIS is this.
This IS this.
THIS is THIS.
>Now we all know the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam
Fucking hell, he's stopped at enraging other comedians and celebrities and moved on to enraging his spectators
>>68253939
I think it was a joke m8, you know, like comedians do.
No dude you don't get it, it's *supposed* to be unfunny.
>>68253957
>Stewart Lee
>comedian
>>68253978
>he doesn't get it
lmao
>>68253847
Sacha Baron Cohen
>>68254022
>there is something to get about him making eating noises and listing food
Wish I could put in the effort to pretend to like this guy. The only good part of his show is when a guy brings his girlfriend along and he's laughing because Stew moved his head 1° to the left, hilariously lampooning the young comedians of today, while she sits stone faced, and at that moment you know that you are pretending to like it more than her.
>>68254194
What is there to not like about this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78Puggk5MCA
>>68254298
>the crowd is laughing at the comments
Why not just read the guardian comments then and save some money watching his show?

If you don't appreciate how the delivery and structure of that bit makes it a hundred times funnier then there really is no hope for you.
