S3 is a lot better if you watch it in batches. It was lukewarm for me too until I rewatched it in batches instead of week to week. After that it became one of my favorite seasons.. As all of them are.

It's unfortunate no series has had the same feeling. The amazing soundtrack, all the feels, the cinematography, the chemistry between all the cast members. Hopefully some time in our lives another series will come about as good...

Well at least it ended on a higher note than it's movie counterparts. But I think it was confirmed that the next season is being written, and Mads said that he'd prefer if the show returned in a couple of years to make the time-skip from red dragon to the silence of the lambs more convincing. That said I find it difficult to believe that Hannibal's character would find anyone else compelling except Will Graham

Hannibal has been friends with the police for a while that's why they go to him in the first place the idea of him being the killer would seem dumb considering they have known him for a while

Will is a psychopath the reason he can catch the killers is because he thinks like them which makes him a prime suspect considering he was involved in all of the investigations around the serial killer and Hannibal planted evidence to make it seem more like Will.
