I also think the original ending of First Blood is better even if it doesn't leave room for sequels.

I didn't like the way the cops drop their rifles on their first encounter-not even trying to shoot once- as he so much approaches them with a knife (wich is never mentioned in the book). The story is black and white. The cop is evil just because and Rambo is a do-no-wrong American Hero.
