Its daunting to me how beautiful the rest of the movie looks when Godzilla looks so fucking terrible. Its the current year, practical effects are cool and can be more realistic in a lot of cases but for something so large you either need the best practical effects of all time or this rubber suit shit just doesn't cut it. They could have enhanced the suit with some cg just for the sake of actually making it look like its moving. It looks like a static suit with an animated tail but just enlarged, I have actually seen some other Godzilla movies where his movement looked much more natural and I didn't get this impression. This is just awful, especially after America made a Godzilla that looked so realistic I cant believe they are operating on such a low budget even after all this time.
