Despite the love for HBO on /tv/ with shows like The Wire, there is a distinct lack of love for Oz and that bugs me.
As much as I hate to admit it, Kareem Said was absolutely boss and Schillinger pretty much owned every scene he was in. Warden Glen could ramp it up spectacularly and just seeing how the gangs all interconnect with each other was masterful directing.
My only gripe was with how Ribadou was handled. In the first couple of seasons it was inferred that he could communicate with God - shown by knowing things he couldn't possibly know otherwise but they didn't go anywhere with it. it was like the writers couldn't figure out where to go so they just never mentioned it again.
