He drops hints now and then. The last American Dad episode I watched had Stan Smith switch lives with the black principle guy Lewis who replaced Stan as Francine's husband and his kids father so now his kids (Steve and Haley) were both racially mixed since Francine was blacked.
The last new Family guy episode I saw was about Peter and Lois opening up a new business, a Cookie shop, get it, a KEK-IE shop. Hold on it gets better, half way through the episode there's a bit where this black guy from the bank meets them as they go to try and get a loan for the business and Peter says "Just try to imagine them naked" or something and when the black guy walks over he screams "Ahhh, get that huge thing out of my face". Lois then proceeds to offer him some KEKies.
