I hated The Originals first two seasons, but this third season has been awesome, disrupting the status quo by making every Klaus offspring immune to him dying (so if Klaus dies, they dont die, etc), and the new power struggle with Lucian.
TVD a shit with that shitty 3 year gap portion and Caroline somehow going MIA and having fucking babies while being a vampire (and the babies being fucking somehow twin witches/warlocks).

Damon has been decent and Caroline and Bonnie too. Usually I would say Bonnie is the worst character every season thus far, but she's been great this one.
Ideally, the Heretic chick and Caroline are the only survivors of the season and they go to New Orleans. Caroline can become a regular and replace one of Klaus' current love interests, and they can do weirdo magic hijinx and turn Freya into one and then kill her off.
Anyways I expect a 3 year time jump at the end of The Originals to coincide with the 3 year into the future plot of TVD which will continue into next season.
