Why did they make her a divorcee? Is it so US women can point fingers at the fault of someone light years ahead of them in every other aspect of femininity?

To spite you, OP. That's how serious a threat you are to "their" agenda.

I don't know why they cut out the scene of her getting hit by a car, the one they used in the commercials.

Franco just accepts it when The Yellow Card Man tells him she will always die, he really needed to see it happen one more time for it to be believable.
>>
>>68176906
>scene of her getting hit by a car
Do you have a link for that scene?
>>
>>68176906
The way they portrayed the yellow card man in the show was really underwhelming tbqh. He wasn't menacing and his little story about his daughter had zero emotional impact.
>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXUx__qQGew

Never mind, I mis-remembered. She has brown hair and not blonde. Either way I don't think scene was in the show which is why I mistook it.
>>
>>68177106
That scene was in the show, it happens after he tries to talk to his father and before the boy scout kid dies in the fire.

IMO he should have tried to live in the 60 with her and maybe bring her to our time. Stephen King's works is always about serving "Ka" and in other novels he mentions that Kennedy had to die and Hitler must live in order to prevent bigger catastrophes.
>>
>>68177243

I think the bittersweet ending of him going to meet her (and likely staying with her) in the future works well enough. He obeys the rules that the Green Card Man explains but still gets Sadie.

>and likely staying with her
what makes u think this
>>
>>68177756

Because he still loves her, she sort of realizes she knows him, and she's probably well past normal dating age.

That and it makes me happy.
>>
>>68177795
>she sort of realizes she knows him,
Because in that timeline they met in Maine for like 5 minutes
>>
>>68177837

Well even in that brief part in Maine she said she felt like she knew him.

I just like it because it defies the "you can't change the future" boogie man. He was able to change the future that really mattered to him.
>>
Bookfag here. Is this worth watching? I watched the pilot and was slightly underwhelmed.
>>
>>68177909

It's different enough that it's worth it. It gets to the same place, just takes a different path.
>>
>>68177888
she probably didn't wanna get raped by a crazy sperg because that's how franco was acting at the time

Am, am, this is a Stephen King novel.

Also her, and her ex were into Sadomasochistic BDSM.
>>

Thanks. I'll give it another go.
>>
Is this show any good?
>>
>>68177909
Not really, they made the Jews angels while making the mob Italian and Cowboys, which stuck out like a sore thumb.
>>
>>68177984

Considering I don't recall any Jews at all I think you're a bit mistaken.
>>
>>68175205
Stop it /tv/ these Sadie feels are too fresh
>>
The story was wildly uneven (thank King for that) but Sadie was the best thing about both the book and series. It shows that no one gives a fuck about Kennedy living, everyone just wants to live in a stylish time with well dressed blonde WASPs, loving and wholesome, fun and trusting, someone you can swing dance and lynch niggers with.

Everyone aches for that.

> the guys that literally nearly killed the main character
> the guys that he used to make bets with in different states

GTFO out of here you faggot, King explored the underworld of betting in the book and tied it all together, also it was run by Jews which he also discussed, why? Because of pic related.
>>
>>68178165
This story is about how shit the 50's/60's were.

Sadie Dunhill = CIGARETTES, Dunhill Lights.

You mean the Cubans?
>>
>>68178219

Seeing as how cocaine, heroin, weed, prescription drugs, etc all exploded in the subsequent decades, a little tobacco is hardly enough from stopping me lusting over the peak of American civilization.

She's actually a so so model, pretty but not very striking, the blankly stern style doesn't suit her. When she's allowed some emotion, she's transcendent. The mark of good actress material.

Even a smirk is enough.
>>
How is /tv/ not all over this?

Shes a great new waifu.
>>
>>68180202

Unfortunately she's suffering the fate of every talented actress who isn't someone's relative or refused to open their legs to Weinstein. She's barely in anything.
