This is how I would have handled the Clark Kent/Superman thing in the Snyder universe.
They already had Kryptonian technology prevalent in Man of Shill. I would have it so when Superman puts the glasses on it changes his face and features. When he takes them off, he's Superman. You can establish this in one shot where the reporteres at the Daily Planet are seeing a different face...then from then on just have Cavil for the rest of the franchise and the audience will already know that people are seeing a different face.

I think the easiest explanation would be to say that there's a lot of people that look similar in the real world, like when I was in middle school there was a boy who looked like me and we always got teased for looking like twins when we weren't even related.
People probably think that Clark Kent the reporter looks similar to superman, but as long as he does a decent job of changing his hair and clothes, and having different personalities, people shouldn't really recognize it's really him.

Everything needs to go through the grim and edgy filter nowadays, while the Reeve films existed in a time when camp and lightheartedness could still be entertaining, and it suited Superman perfectly. BvS sucks because Superman is supposed to contrast Batman's dark and gritty personality, not compliment it. They're basically the same character now and it's ruined any chance of Superman being done right.
