The reason Boba Fett isn't going to get a Star Wars Anthology movie is because he's not a woman.

If it's an older Boba Fett and it's set after Episode VI, it will be Temuera Morrison. If it's a younger Boba Fett and it's set before Episode IV, it will be Daniel Logan.
I think what they will ultimately do is have Daniel Logan playing a younger Boba Fett in the spinoff movie, and then have Temuera Morrison play an old and grizzled Boba Fett in VIII or IX. Supposedly Logan was on board for playing Boba Fett in the canceled live action TV show, and he also voiced him in Clone Wars.

He also directed Rocketeer which had some ace jetpack scenes. It would almost be too logical of a fit for Johnston to direct the Boba Fett movie, which is why I'm worried it wouldn't happen.
He's said he'd do it if they asked him though, so who knows?
