There's nothing weird or complicated about the story, it just has some humor thrown in every once in a while.

It's Such a Beautiful Day is an extremely simple story, kept interesting throughout by the humor, cute visuals and nice sound. Nothing more.
If you didn't enjoy it you're probably trying too hard to look smart with some overly complicated analysis trying to prove God knows what.
