No they look incredibly cheap and undetailed, like plastic on top of black tights, because thats all it is. You cant convince me its some kind of high tech amor with a bunch of shit underneath it, it looks awful. Like in the Force Awakens when Fin peels his armor off and you can see its just plastic plates, shit is fucking stupid. Its ok because Star Wars is for children but dont try to convince me this shit looks good.

I get that humans are supposed to be the most populous race but this just feels like an alternate universe star wars set on earth. If there is one thing the prequels got right it's species diversity in a huge fucking galaxy with millions of planets that spawned intelligent life.

Are the planets in the same solar system? All stars are light YEARS apart. Even the death star had to travel to the target. Or is this laser some bullshit faster than light shit? If that's true, how the fuck did everyone see it coming? You can't see shit in hyperspace while in normal space. Also doesn't hyperspace take computer programs to correct coarse multiple times since they said it was impossible to go in a straight line because of all the gravity wells of planets in the way?

Actually why the fuck did they let them build this at all? It made sense in the original movies because the Empire controlled essentially all of the galaxy. But the First Order doesn't have enough influence/power to let them happen. Did everyone just look the other way while they built this over years? Or did they somehow fucking hide a massive effort bigger than the fucking death star?

I think it's a nice design, but I don't know if it's nice enough to look great by itself.
What I mean is that the whole "nerd culture" (which is very related to consumism) is reproducing images of Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers everywhere, shirts, toys, stencils, paintings, tattoos, etc.
Everyone is being exposed to these images, and they're "part of us"... If you don't watch any kind Stormtrooper design for a decade, maybe you will think that the design is outdated, but now you can't tell because you've exposed a lot to that design.
