Thought it was really well done. Kept me interested and genuinely surprised me when the twist came.
Never trust a woman.

Well done is kinda the word I have for it. Fincher masters how to catch mystery at an steady pace, but I can't feel the thriller or suspense in this whole thing outside of the thematic side.
Felt to me like a very big puppet show with visible strings.

It was just unpleasant. Not really enough evidence to be a whodunnit, just a mystery narrative that it relatively quickly shows you the truth about. The woman abused our current cultural biases and got away with it which just serves as a sad reminder about our society. It didn't have more content or a message beyond that, it was just a story about people having their lives ruined.
It actually is weird to me how much women seemed to like this thing. It's their version of snuff porn or something.
toptier soundtrack

pretty good horror movie
Pike did an amazing job as Amy.
>>68068346
Amazing movie. It was crafted well from beginning to end seamlessly with it's tension rising and falling, and it you lost the game.

It's a somewhat exaggerated look at divorce culture today.
Every guy that's thinking about getting engaged should watch this.
>>68068346
it's like a Villeneuve film
>>68069133
A lot of feminists hated it because of her being the villan and portraying her in a bad light. I hated the fucking ending though.
>>68069499
This. 3 of my childhood friends are divorced and 2 of them fuck their exes still. The other guys and his ex manage to stay friends even in their new relationships
I kinda wanna watch it again but I already watched it twice. I even read the fucking book. I hate myself. I wish I was nick.

Yeah she was fuckin great. Wish I saw her in more stuff

>hurr look guys this girl is smart and a psychopath and this guys dumb and good looking!
>>68070048
>Hurr durr wow why didn't he just kill her that would've been way cooler and awesome!

Not that anon but the first few threads after the movie released some anons came up with a better ending :
>timeskip 15 years later
>affleck and amy still married
>their son starts learning about his parent's history from rumors at school
>goes to Margo for answers
>amy finds out he's been around her
>she kills margo
>affleck and son suspect its amy
>movie ends with son and affleck planning to get rid of her/prove her guilt
>next movie is Tyler Perry and FTWDmom helping affleck and son put her away
this might kind of happen too since the author leaked that fincher and her have plans to include the grown up "baby dunne" in the plot
No funny scenes, no female lead strong independent rightous woman who has sex everyday with a big guy, also there are no chinese in this movie, we need forest Whitaker and karatee, i rebel, language underoos, disney jews should be buuuurntttttt

GIVE ME YOUR SEED I'M GOING TO MAKE US OUR FUCKING BABY MAKE US WHOLE
>>68070967
The whole point was he couldn't prove her guilt, even the cops didn't care it was all in the matters of the media circus that he just accepted it.
>>68069187
>>68069133
Came here to post what these anons said.
11/10 soundtrack thanks to Reznor but the story and movie was ok, with a predictable twist. They could have done more with the theme of marriage but didn't.
>>68070967
That contradicts the book ending, where Nick flat out tells Margo that Amy will never be allowed to exile Margo from Nick and the kids' lives because he intends to force her to eat shit, lest he use it against her to make her look like a monster to the public via raising a stink to the media about Amy being a snob to Nick's sister.

You think /tv/ reads books? lol
>>68068346
My favorite Fincher film, every thing about it is great, from the soundtrack to the neat plot twists, to the visuals.
Also, Rosamund Pike is my waifu.
Great first date movie

The blueish green filter on the movie was spectacular
