Its fake, but theyre not making a complete show of how fake it is. Another example is the fights in the prequels, theyre clearly choreographed to fuck, while the fights in the Original trilogy seem like actual fights because they dont look as acted, they look and feel vastly different from eachother. One feels genuine and the other feels like its scripted. Again, this is NOT a bad thing, they both have their places. Alot of asian martial arts movies use wires and shit and it makes for a great performance.
