Definitely worth watching. Kinda falls apart in Season 7 but Angel Season 4 more than made up for it.

season 1-3 is pretty good
after that its get a bit hit and miss for me too much magical bullshit and so on
It has so many great arm hair scenes.

S1 is mostly monster of the week
S2,3 and 5 are consistently good
S4 and S6 are a roller-coaster of ups and downs, with some of the best episodes of the series along with some of the worst. Unfortunately, The bad ones in 6 are lumped together and start the downward spiral into 7
S7 is where the writers clearly stopped giving a fuck. A whole lot of bullshit, deus ex machina, people acting out of character, annoying new characters mixed in with some fun episodes, but nowhere near the redeeming quality of S4 and 6's good ones.
