hey /tv/. I just watched pic related, and now I'm feeling sort of wistful and melancholy. Are there any other comfy movies that give you the same feeling?
I wish they made more movies like this.

I just think it's his weakest movie. I like wes anderson, but I think he really grew into his style with Rushmore. Bottle Rocket just didn't fit with me like his other ones did.

That's what all of my friend say, too. Can I ask why you think it's his weakest? I thought it was a little empty, but once I started looking at it as a film about an aging, insecure man and how he projects said insecurities onto other people, it made it much more enjoyable for me. I think it's more of a character study than his other, more plot driven films. Not to say his other ones weren't, I guess.

I just feel it's not as focused as his others, is probably the best way I can explain it. There are things I like about it but it just doesn't come together as a whole, especially when you look at his most recent movies
