Honestly the second film is one of my favourite animated films and I am not the sort of person who loves kids animated films usually and the first is pretty great.
I'd score them:
Kung Fu Panda 7.5/10 surprisingly great action much better than it ever deserved to be, with some great visuals. Cons are the villain is weak and some of the humour misses the mark and is too kiddy.
Kung Fu Panda 2: 8.5/10, Genuinely brilliant, they upped the game in every regard, the story is better, the characters are more fleshed out, Shen is an amazing villain and something I don't see mentioned enough is the use of 2D animation is genuinely brilliant. I also found it funnier than the first and the action I thought was equally great. There were people crying in the cinema at one scene when I saw it.
Kung Fu Pand 3: 6/10 A disapointment but still OK and if you really loved the first two then it is probably worth it. The Villain is no where near as good as in the second but the visuals are beautiful and the action is still pretty good (if not anticlimactic in places). The story is not great and pretty cliche, following a lot of emotional beats that were covered in the second film, but some scenes are genuinely touching (admittedly they were as good as they were because they referenced the second film).
I think they are all worth a watch and definitely recommend the second which I think is an under appreciated Gem

They basically cut the fact that the Wolves were treated badly and Shen was the only one to stand up for them which is why they were loyal to him and the fact that Shen was mistreated by his parents who saw him as sickly due to his color. That's what I remember, I love him and the film as is but if they had added this it would be even more GOAT.

It isn't like he isn't being his usual annoying self but the comedy doesn't come from his annoying self it comes from the characters around hims reactions to him which I personally found hilarious.
