This is probably the most substantial change, especially with how close it came to being filmed as Sinatra was only dismissed due to injury. As if that wasn't enough, Siegel initially wanted legendary soldier, babyface screen actor and suffer of PTSD Audie Murphy to play the role of the psychotic killer Scorpio, forced to recast due to Murphy's untimely death. As much as I enjoy the movie I would have loved to see Dirty Harry starring a famous crooner and a war hero.

Seth Rogan, Jason Segel and Tina Fey are three scientists who grew up together with there friend ice cube they were there when Ghostbusters happened and they grew up now they run into a ghost and decide they have to take up the mantle Ice Cube is famous and no longer really friends so they convince him to fund the group but he gets to be on the team Ice Cube doesn't play his usual tough guy shtick and is a Cocky Rapper, Seth and Jason are both Engineers that own their own small computer repair store and Tina is Jason's older sister a housewife but hangs around with Jason and Seth because they're her only friends her husband works full time and her kids are at college, Seth's character is a implied Stoner like the sort of Shaggy, Jason is leader he is the guy that keeps all this research stacked up in the back of the computer store once they all get together to look at the research they learn about the original Ghostbusters place they go there and find the nothing except the phone and address of Bill Murrays character from the originals with his help they engineer the equipment with the help of Bill Murray they save the day.
