I'm afraid this is a case of different strokes. I don't typically watch a single movie more than once unless I really like it. I am literally throwing money away by purchasing something I'll probably never watch more than once. I'd much rather have something different each time I log on. I assume your talking about movies because in my experience with Netflix in particular is that they don't remove series.

Basic TV is also quicker to air mainstream movies, Netflix rarely ever put up a good new movie within 2 years of it's release, it's life after death for theatrical flops for the most part.
