i've just seen the first 4 episodes of DD and i have to admit i was underwhelmed with the Punisher. the actor did well with the material given, but that just wasn't a great Punisher portrayal. maybe it gets better, i'll find out soon enough. for me thebest all time Punisher stories are the Ennis PunisherMAX stories. they're critically-acclaimed and highly recommend them.

aw, that sucks. i find the show entertaining enough but think it could use sharper writing. it's a bit too by the numbers at times. if i don't dig the next episodes, i'll probably drop it altogether.

She was great. Her story arc not so much. It would be extremely stupid to bring her back just to have her die again so I hope they avoid that shit. She doesn't want her own solo series though so that sucks. She does want to be a part of The Defenders series. I want more Elektra and a better story arc for her.

It's really split. Not that it's bad. Almost everyone enjoyed it. It's just whether it's better than Season 1 is what most people debate. I really liked it, but think S1 was better.

I agree that it's overblown. It's not as good as Punisher's, but it's still good. People freak out about the stuff being unanswered, but S1 had some of that as well. This is all building up to The Defenders series.

Nobu is just as generic a villain as it gets, and that sticks out among characters like fisk and punisher. The hand was the whole focus of the show past the 4th episode, and somehow they didn't advance that plotline or explain anything beyond what we knew after season 1

DD and Cage for sure. I liked Jessica Jones but it was so different in tone to DD I find it hard to see them teaming up. She isn't a "hero" really. She's just a super strong PI.

The thing is Jessica Jones can be an actual super hero. She can even fly and shit in the comics. The showrunner didn't want to make a super hero show though. So her power level fluctuates like crazy and the action is just down right embarrassing. She can stop a car from moving no problem, but struggles to pull herself up from a guard rail and trips on stairs and gets stunned. It was just ridiculous.
They can make her use her powers to full potential in The Defenders, but I imagine some people are gonna feel that makes the character disjointed. Like, not muh JJ, or where was that strength in her solo show.
