but he's a retard because Ripley earns her survival in the first film and even has a flamethrower. she was already a strong female character and there wouldn't be the same outcry.
She is fairly realistic though, I don't remember her beating some 6'4'' dudes with her skinny ass arms or doing anything like that. She mostly survives and fires guns.
