Honestly if there's a complaint to be make, isn't it that the special team to steal the Death Star plans only has one woman? Like, people have complained about there being one token woman in a group of men in many media for years. Now that token woman has become the lead, it actually makes everything seem even less plausible.
But of course, there can't be a second woman because it means she'd have to be a lesser character than the lead - and women who are anything other than perfect are not allowed.
