Is this prime Lovecraft-core? Modern story, great private investigation, slow build to the occult shit.
I saw AM1200 the other day and that was alright, but short (it's a short). And didn't have what most of the shit that tries to sell itself as lovecraftian- fucking investigation!!! MYSTERY!
Please tell me there is more like this

Yeah, it was the most Lovecraftian film I've ever seen, even more so than the actual Lovecraft story films. That ending was fucking amazing, didn't expect it to get so eldritch. This honestly deserved more praise than it received.
>tentacle monsters
>"It's so Lovecraftian!"
god just kill yourselves reddit

Man that was good. But the theseus and odysseus shit at the end would have been more powerful if drawn through the whole story, rather than "here's some greek references to end on as an allegory for my position".
Thank you though. That was a fantastic read.

You ever have moments where you think "dammit. I'm such a faggot. God. I just fucked up so bad."
or you think "man god I was such a loser 'then' ".
Those are moments of clarity, anon. Those are moments where you see yourself as you truly are.
When you look in the mirror. When you blandly recall your day, your doings- those are mistakes. Poor vision.
That one time "you were such a faggot" never stopped. It's been your whole life and you just been catching blinks of it.

Baader-meinhof or "frequency illusion". The illusion in which a word, a name, or other thing that has recently come to one's attention suddenly seems to appear with improbable frequency shortly afterwards (not to be confused with the recency illusion or selection bias).[38] Colloquially, this illusion is known as the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon.[39]
It is closely tied with the Mandela Effect, in that it also signifies a 'glitch' in causality. However where Mandela Effect is evidence of a divergence, Baader is more the echoing collapse of two worlds into one, the lynchpin or keystone being the 'word' or idea in question.
You have just made a very long journey in a very short time, my friend. Or maybe it was I?

>Mandela Effect is evidence of a divergence
It's evidence that people would rather believe in pseudoscientific bullshit that makes them feel special rather than accept easily provable fact that memory is fallible.
