Hit Clone Wars levels of good a couple times in season 2, but it's good enough.

It's pretty average. Season 2> Season 1. Also the Season 2 finale was excellent.
I wouldn't recommend it. I can't believe all the star wars animations are this incredible stiff and lifeless. The same goes for clone wars. I can't watch it without vomiting in my mouth.

It's a meh episodic show most of the time that hints at greater things. Last season 2 episode is keeping me on the bandwagon.

Yes. It's pretty fucking good. Excellent characters.
Some of the filler episodes are lame but I'd say a good 80% of episodes are excellent.
There is an episode where Kanan and Rex team up and wear stormtrooper armor. It's prorally the best episode. Watch that one.
Season 2 finale was fucking GOAT. A lot of standalone episodes and a lot of tangential bullshit, but when the episodes are Jedi-centric, the show is legitimately great.
