>Everyone hates Star Wars: The Force Awakens now
What happened?

>Critics love it
>General audicience love it
>50% of /tv/ love it, 30% don't hate it
What are you talking about?
>reddit found its way here again
Movie was beautiful. Better than episodes 2-5, I say. Fuck the redditors that hate it.

Best film of 2016 and 2004, tbqh

>Worse than 1

Today's critics are paid whores, and the general public is full of retards. This movie sucked shit through a garden hose. But everybody that dogged Lucas for decades & praised the Disney acquisition collectively put their heads up their asses & just HAD to be proven right, even though they were so wrong in reality.
>>67986711
>literally all critics and audiences felt positively about it
>50 contrarians shitpost on reddit and bring their shit taste over here
There, that's the popular reaction in a nutshell
>>67986711
Shit movies are going to be treated as such.
It's my duty to call out meme cinema and capeflicks when I see them. Every disrupted positive circlejerk revolving around Star Wars is a bullet directly to the heart of reddit.

Let me tell (you) why. It's worse than episode one (1); No jar jar
No dual saber
No zabraks, twileks or rodians
No podracing
NOT EVEN ONE FUCKING TRADE NEGOTIATION

1 was a masterpiece. Watch it again. Really watch it. keep in mind this was released in 99, 2 years before 9/11 and the cultural changes that brought along with it. The amount of social awareness that Phantom exudes is astounding. I mean the pod racing scene alone. It's literally the citizen kane of starwars movies.
People watched it a second time without all the hype coursing through their veins, and it turned out it was kinda boring.
