Trainspotting is a pretty perfect film with a great ending.
Also the source material for the sequel is Porno, the book sequel to Trainspotting. It's an entertaining read if you're a fan of the characters but ultimately it's really sub-par. I don't even know how they would make a plot arc screenplay for a film out of it.
Would prefer if Danny Boyle would do a film based on Glue. The four characters from that book are just as good. It's a close second to Trainspotting.

I read it years ago. It's great. Your brain gets used to the scottish accent, especially if you read it aloud. As a plus you learn to use the accent pretty well irl.
