Come on now, Blacked is honestly the most boring shit ever. High production values, but the most boring plots and fucking I've ever seen. Seriously, its all "White girl is caught/does something she's never done before, then sluts it up for the black guy". Rinse and repeat. It's possibly the influence of having these shows on the WB/CW so often and superhero movies and shows being popular on tumblr. The WB/CW markets/marketed much of their shows (more so than many other networks) to black people so they have interracial couples involving black people and white people on some of their shows. Their most popular supehero show has an interracial couple. CBS and HBO decide to also have supehero shows (Daredevil, Supergirl, and Jessica Jones) and decide to also have interracial couples like the most popular superhero show does. This possibly gets them extra publicity on news sites, tumblr, and blogs for doing something politically progressive.
