heard a lot about the ending sucking before i watched this, but i just brushed it aside consider in you retards never get anything right.

I don't think anyone feels like the last 10 minutes ruined the film. The shitty out of place quipping, action sequence, and stronk womyn warrior bit were awful, but they don't discount the perfect fucking performance that Goodman turned in.
Hell, all three of them really knocked it out of the park in that bunker. It's just... man, the original ending was going to be so much better.

this is just another JJ flick where the storytelling is literally all just a sequence of engaging yet disconnected scenes leading to whatever ending he could pull out of his ass. I don't know why anyone expects anything else out of him at this point.

To be fair if the movie wasn't tied to cloverfield it would get 0 hype and average reviews. It's not particularly executed well but since it has the cloverfield name a lot of people overlook it and elevate it to something else. Without that and the ending obviously tying it in it's just okay at best.
