I saw it once like right after it came to dvd. I don't remember it being awful, but it probably wasn't that bad.
People only hate it on it because it either isn't American enough or doesn't have enough Japanese.
I think it's a pretty good mixture of both, a little heavy on the American part, but it doesn't make you want to ignore the Jap parts
I love how a nigger is supposedly treated like a human being by the Japanese or another instance of not being realistic that an American with no knowledge of the language itself would there and learn it little to no time.
