She looks uncomfortable here. Like she was reading something and suddenly glanced at the creepy photographer.

probably the best bond film and one of the best action films ever made
>>

Wonder why they weren't able to fully recapture the magic of Casino Royale in the next three. I mean, they were all good to decent, but none ever came close to topping CR.

Skyfall was pretty good for the character of Bond. I loved how he was old and out of shape after being away for too long, and Moneypenny is some young chick and Q is a 20 something year old kid. It really made you feel like Bond was on his way out and this is one last mission for him. For once it was great to see Bond out of his element, but then it ended up being just another typical Bond film except with better cinematography. It would've been great if the whole movie was Bond struggling due to aging and his injuries, and then in the end he retires in Scotland at his old home or something. Also, the villain was shit

simple. they got rid of director Martin Campbell the same man who made another one of the best bond films. Goldeneye.

after spectre i hope they get rid of Sam Mendes. the man makes it look good on the surface. but doesn't understand the fundamentals of bond at all.

a bond retirement movie would be shit but luckily no one would ever approve of that anyway

It's enjoyable but it goes on for 40 minutes longer than it needed too
>>
>>67949200
well to be fair they had to undo the romance they'd written themselves into otherwise there'd be no more bond
under the circumstances i'm glad they spent time on doing that so that it didn't feel ridiculously rushed/abrupt
>>
>>67948800
Skyfall would have been interesting as a retirement of one Bond. Instead the director or writer really wanted to quash the "Bond is a codename" theory and it ended up being an awkward prequel

He's like the black Brando.
>>
>>67949002
If you mean Tyler Perry then I agree, he did surprisingly well. I expected to be thrown off by him but he pulled me in instead
>>
>>67949285
I understand the position they were in but at the same time it felt like they just dragged the movie out in lieu of rushing the conclusion
Maybe making it a part of the subsequent movie instead.

IIRC there was quite a bit of backlash from fans when Heath Ledger was cast as The Joker, but then everyone ended up loving him
>>
>>67948593

No Martin Campbell. I don't understand how after two of the best Bond movies ever made they let him go yet again.

Eva "I love being naked on movies" Green. I want to suck on those tits forever.

He's playing his regular angry Adam Sandler sthick except is takes place in the real world.
>>
>>67949722
Yeah, there are some pretty cringy IMDB comments saying Ledger would "destroy the Joker forever" or some shit.

The Internet has turned everyone into a cynical knee-jerk reaction "critic", and it almost always blows up in their faces.

People just didn't take him seriously as a villain after Brokeback Mountain
I'm pretty sure tv was full of
