<<<<DC and Marvel's CEOs are diving into huge piles of cash. They are winning. You're not.
And you're doing a marketer's job for free.

Shit I just realized this. Fuck 'em they got us.
I've never given a single dollar to either company
The only capeshit I watch I torrent and I only do so in order to criticize them honestly.
>>67942999
Impressive. Very nice.
>>67942937
Warner Bros. isn't going to be diving into anything except bankruptcy in the next five years.
>>67943010
You sir are a good man. Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.
>>67943063
Nah they will do another Tolkien cash grab and release The Silmarillion film.
>>67942937
Nope, I got DC, because I enjoyed their movie.
Marvel got me several times however.
>>67943153
They don't have the rights and the Tolkien Estate hates WB. They'll never sell.
>>67942937
Diving in to cash like that would break your neck.
Coins arent a liquid
>>67942937
The devastation of the DCucks knows no limits.

>While we're debating and fighting
I'm doing my best to ignore it honestly. Nothing is as uninteresting to me than consolewar tier shitposting about god damned capeshit.
Talk about something more interesting.

>>67943172
I want this movie tough. Even if it's shit.
>>67943264
The silmarillion would be dogshit. Do something different with it. Turn it into a faux-ken burns style documentary miniseries.

>>67943219
The next Batman film will save them. Lucky fucks will survive after all.
>>67943346
No u. Seriously though, between the tourists and the shitposters its just been unbearable.
>implying Snyder won't get fired
>implying DC won't start using the Marvel formula
>implying we won't get a DC vs Marvel film after the Infinity Wars
>>67943487
Will there ever be a comparatively low key batman movie without super villains? I want a good batman year one kind of story where batman is fighting organized crime and the corruption of gotham.
>>67943569
>DC vs Marvel film
Not as long as the rights are held by rival companies... Disney ain't sharing no fucking shekels if they can avoid it.
>>67943591
He solved that halfway through TDK
>>67943591
>>67943671
And begins was close as well. I'm okay with batman movies not really having a lot of continuity between movies beyond them being about batman.
The bat isn't culturally obscure, everyone from grandmas to little babies can recognize the character, so its okay to have a movie that is just a self contained story that is just ANOTHER adventure of the caped crusader. Fuck cinematic universes. It was novel when marvel did it, but its overstayed its welcome with me.

>wasting hours out of the day for the sole purpose of criticizing something you know you won't like
Is there anything worse than manchildren other than happy merchants and niggers?

>>67942937
>mfw the last capeshits I actually put down money to see in the theater were The Incredible Hulk and The Dark Knight
They may be making money hand over fist but mostly not on my dollar. Everything after I've seen on Netflix or pirated if not available.
>>67942937
You are implying that we the consumer can somehow "win" in this exchange. Whether you participate or not nothing changes for you personally or financially.
Absolutely shit thread
>>67945199
KYS you cuck
>>67942937
DC isn't getting jack shit. Warner Bros. makes DC movies, but DC itself has no real involvement beyond providing the IPs.
Marvel Entertainment also doesn't get jack shit, but that's because Kevin Feige specifically asked the Disney executives to separate Marvel Studios from Marvel Entertainment so that the studio could get away from Ike Perlmutter (who was, by all accounts, a major pain in the ass to work with). Marvel Studios is still a separate division that gets quite a bit of leeway with the higher-ups at Disney, but Marvel Entertainment doesn't get to see any of Marvel Studios' money or success anymore (Marvel Entertainment still has Marvel Television, though).
