Average rating of 5.7 sounds fair. It looked and sounded great and then turned into utter shit in the second half.
Edge of Tomorrow was the superior of the Cruise kino's from around that time.

>oblivion
>good
pick one
It's alright as a brain-off action flick, the consensus in that picture is pretty accurate.

I can see why people wouldn't like it, but it's an 8/10 from me. Think it at least deserves a 70%.

fuck you, sally
That blurb is 100% right. It looks amazing but doesn't hold interest after the first hour or so
>>67935819
It could have been kino if it wasn't for Freeman and his character. It's just a cinéma, maybe even a film.
>>67935819
5.7/10 seems about right.
It was an ok film but nothing special.
>she has sex with three different versions of her husband who had completely different life experiences
Great aesthetics. Looked amazing on the big screen.

>thinly scripted
really? It's a slow paced film but I'd hardly call the script thin

I guarantee you haven't seen this since you were 10
>>67936188
I agree. If it lost the resistance parts and stayed sleek clean futurist it would have been minority report tier
>ywn be an effective team
I liked it, but I can understand why people didn't like it. If the script was tad better, could've been amazing.
>63%
I thought it was worse since I remember it getting panned when it came out

No, it did not, I'm sure it triggers those jelly intestined fags though, chell's outfit, posing as gods, allusions to ritual sacrifice and tribal genocide.

I watched this it several times, when I was an adult too
Still GOAT, dunno what the fuck they're on about with predictable story(wasn't at all) and thin characters, Tulio and Miguel are fantastic. And the score by Hans Zimmer and Elton John? 10/10.
>Visually striking but thinly scripted, Oblivion benefits greatly from its strong production values and an excellent performance from Tom Cruise.
sounds about right to me. i didn't mind it but once i'd finished it, i just forgot about it.
