You know as well as I do that Terry (the female dog who played Toto) died on September 1, 1945 (aged 11)
>>
disney had toto frozen, revived then frozen again to test the cryopreservation process
>>
>>67935892
I didn't know that. I presumed after all these years he was almost certainly dead.

Thank your lucky fucking stars that THIS Toto is still rocking!!!!!

"Rosanna" at full volume motherfuckers!!!
>>
>>67936076

you said "probably", also, how the fuck would you think there was even the smallest chance of her still being alive - she's not a fucking tortoise.
>>
>>67934587
For some reason I have a hard time watching old movies where I know all the actors and animals are long dead. Gives me the creeps.
>>
>>67934587

When I was a kid, dad had a running gag whenever we were watching TV and a dog came on-screen in an old movie.

"See that dog?"

"Yeah."

"He's dead."

"...aw!"

Some dogs live longer than others, especially the small breeds.

I agree with you anyway. In all likelyhood, Toto is dead now.
>>
>>67936144
Dubs speak truths. I mean, when you think of it, we are only beams of light, and film has essentially captured that light and duplicated it so that the actor's light never fades. It's tryluly unnarving.
>>
>>67936252
toto is dead
>>
>>67934587
You mean TITO. Toto's what we had last night for dinner now GIMME that.
>>
>>67936254

This is part of why Kenneth Anger described film (to his personal pleasure and delight) as being a fundamentally evil, a fundamentally satanic art form.
>>
>>67936276
Yeah, most likely.

What's your point?
>>
>Controversy sparked over Terry, the dog who portrayed Toto in the film, was unceremoniously shot by her owner after filming was done. This had reportedly been a ritual practiced by many previous show animal owners, as it was a way of sending the animal off in a congratulatory blaze of glory.[12]

Jesus CHRIST what the fuck...

Toto was tragically ripped apart and eaten by the munchkins. May he rest in peace

not who you're replying to, but yes, most likely.
Are you saying Toto isn't most likely dead?

>yfw a munchkin is still alive
>>
>>67938445
I agree - it seems quite probable that Toto is dead now.
>>
How old do you reckon he is now, 78?
>>
>>67938575
Yeah, there's like a 86.47% chance the dog has died in the past 77 years.
>>
>>67937814
Why are you being so argumentative when we agree with each other?

With the movie being made so many years ago, he's almost definitely dead now.

It makes me sad to think toto has a chance of being dead as I write this.

Right??

The odds are that Toto is dead now. Which is sad.

Wow - it's even more likely that he's dead than I had thought.

There is still a chance Toto is alive.

Apparently, the munchkins were a bunch of assholes....

Quotes from Judy Garland:

"They were drunks. They got smashed every night and the police used to scoop them up in butterfly nets."

"Some of the [midget] men used to tease me while we were making "The Wizard of Oz". They used to sneak under my dress! I told them if they ever went under there - and I found out about it - they were in big trouble!"

Apparently they'd grab her ass, and proposition for sex, despite the fact that she was only 16 during filming.

MGM, the company she worked for, used to treat their workers like slaves, apparently, which ultimately lead to countless cases of drug dependency among those employed in the industry.

"MGM] had us working days and nights on end. They'd give us pep-up pills to keep us on our feet long after we were exhausted. Then they'd take us to the studio hospital and knock us cold with sleeping pills . . . Then after four hours they'd wake us up and give us the pep-up pills again so we could work another 72 hours in a row. I started to feel like a wind-up toy from FAO Schwarz."

No wonder Judy Garland was so fucked up and died so young, the Hollywood Jews essentially killed her.
