Which one do you watch?
>>

>>
>>67927146
Mummy of course. It's legit good and the other two are shit.
>>
>>67927146
Mummy
>>
Probably League. I haven't seen it in ages.

The Mummy is my favorite overall though. Van Helsing is good too.
>>
this board thrives on JUST and you come here asking this question, OP?

If Mummy wasnt legit then JUST wouldn't be such a tragedy.
>>
Hey O'Connell!
>>
Mummy and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is comfy tier

Van Helsing is shit tho
>>
is this even a decision?

the mummy is a movie that has infinite re-watch power to me

thats classic shit man love it

i actually just watched it a few months ago. maybe its time to see again
>>
Jokes on you I like all 3 of these movies.
Well maybe not League so much.

I love Mars Attacks! But I haven't Starship Troopers in decades.
Fuck Independece Day. I can't believe that piece of crap got a sequel.

The practical Hyde in LXG looks so good. He always creeped me out as a kid.
Why are there no more practical monsters in movies?
>>
>>67927293
Independence Day, hands down. So many likable characters, memorable lines, and great action setpieces. I can appreciate Mars Attacks and Starship Troopers as good movies but the gore disturbed me a bit as a kid so it's harder to watch again.

Mummy and van helsing are good so one of them but league sucks balls and I never want to see it again.
>>
Van Helsing easily, the mummy 2nd place and League is utter shit.
>>
>>67927146
Van Helsing, it has the hottest bitches.
>>
>>67927146
Those are all very enjoyable movies you mong.

Mummy, then The Mummy Returns, then George of the Jungle, then Bedazzled then finish off the night with Blast From The Past.
>>
>>67927146
the mummy
i hate vampires, and the league of extraordinary gentlemen was the shittiest movie i've ever seen and i will never rewatch it
>>
>>67927146
Why is LXG considered bad? I know it made Connery quit movies, but what was so bad about it? I like it.
>>
>>67927146
Probably LXG since I've never seen it before.
>>
>>67927520
I knew that it was total shit when the poo in the loo guy brought his giant submarine.
>>
>>67927146
The Mummy without a doubt, then Van Helsing.

Van Helsing. I've never been through it completely to the best of my knowledge. I've seen The Mummy and LXG several times all the way through.

Pick One
>>
>>67927293
Starship Troopers. It's the closet to a liveaction 40k film you can get.

I found Mars Attacks too long, but I should watch it again some time.

Independence Day is good, but it's just "le americans are le best!" Plus the speech he does at the end is ruined with the "We're going to win. We're going to survive." or whatever it was.

However, the sequel is closest you can get to a liveaction XCOM film....

Why is van helsing getting so much shit? I'm not arguing that it's a good movie, but it was a nice throwback to the classic movie monsters

Which one am thinking of which takes place in Burma, rescuing AID workers or some shit? Rambo sets off an unexploded WW2 bomb to kill shit loads. The Brit sniper has a AW50.

Look at the trailer again, look at the weapons they use. Look exactly like XCOM: EU's plasma weapons.

Yeah Rambo 4.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgozRTq8M_U

Everything was perfect. The fist sized bullet holes, the exploding heads. Both the MG and Barret 50cal (wasn't AW, maybe he wasn't a Brit, but the leader was) was great.
>>
>>67927146

Mummy.

Fun underrated movie.
>>
>>67927840
Unfortunately it is still 'MURRICA FUCK YEAH' film, it seems. We even have the Brit sidekick/scientist to make sure it isn't considered too jingo.

ha I remember some reddit guy telling the story of sitting next to her on a plane and making small talk for a while without telling her he knew who she was, until she snapped at him, only to be told by some maid that travels with her that she hates it when people don't acknowledge her by her fame.

Never seen Kings of New York, so I'd go with that.

If it's a choice between the other two, First Blood is the better movie but it's too raw for a rewatch. I'd just watch Robocop for entertainment value.

>liveaction 40k film

Somebody please make this happen
>>
>>67928645
Homosexuality is A-OK in 40k though. It's even mentioned in the books. Though usually only lesbians.

It won't happen cause GW are faggots. If a Hollywood film was greenlighted it would be a massive chunk going to them. So we have to live with the content that was made prior to 40k, which GW stole. Such as Alien, Starship Troopers, Star Wars, Star Trek and lots of other things.

/tv/, /v/ and /tg/ have often discussed who would play who if it was set during the Horus Heresy or at least just before it. That alone would put the budget in excess of $1bn a film and it wouldn't make that back unless each film was split into three.

Its his money, and his family, he can do what he wants.
>>
>>67929119
I suppose you're right, anon. But those kids will be fucked up due to rarely seeing their father, having money go onto boy prostitutes/hotels, and dealing with all the rumours (he's been basically confirmed as gay for a decade at least) in school.

Cruel, anon.

The Mummy is a legit good movie. I have seen it over 3 times now when it's on tv. I don't know how people think it's bad.

The Mummy all day every day
>>
>>67927885

I saw Racehl Weisz at a grocery store in Los Angeles once. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for photos or anything.
She said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but she kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing her hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard her chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in her hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “M'am, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price,s he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Ghost Rider, no question

Starship Troopers, for some reason I still haven't seen Independence Day.

Robocop for me, I could watch that movie on repeat for ages.
Kind of random to have King of New York on that list (great movie though).

Probably Leage only cause I haven't seen it since it was in theatres and is due for a re eval

But otherwise mummy
>>
>>67927146
The Mummy>>>>>>>Van Helsing>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Leage
>>

Don't bother. It's worse than you thought it was back then
>>
The Mummy is one of my favorite movies of all time, not even fucking joking. Van Helsing is pretty cool too, for some reason 1999 to around 2005 had tons of these stupid ass action movies, but they were a mile better than capeshit of today. Hellboy is another favorite.

LoEG is irredeemable though.
