That's because, in spite of what everyone seems to think, Marvel Studios does not give two shits about their source material. Everyone praises them for being authentic, but that's all a bunch of malarkey. They mix and match villains, they bend the characters in all sorts of ridiculous directions. The MCU is not what the comics are, it's what Kevin Feige thinks the comics should be. Not that that inherently matters all that much, but it irritates me when people say that Disney Marvel understands their characters better than others.
