Season 5 was some of the most melodramatic, boring television I've seen. It all builds up to a big fight between Stannis and Boltons, then it doesn't show the fucking fight. Instead we see a fight that wasn't even described in the books, nor lead up to in the show.
At this point it's just for women to write erotic fan fiction about and have 1 "ebin battle" per season. Cringy desu. I couldn't believe how much they butchered the events leading up to Tyrion killing his father. Sooo much more powerful in the book. They didn't NEED to make any of the changes they made either. It was utter nonsense. I loved that added scene of Tyrion talking to Jaime about a retarded clunking things with a rock. It's like a retard wrote the fucking scene. I can't believe it replaced the gloriously epic scene just before the battle where Tyrion talks to Oberyn.
Season's 1 through 4 were pretty good though.

Doing my annual series rewatch before S6 and S5 is just flat out bad. The wall (which was extremely dumbed down) is the only redeeming part besides a handful of scenes with Arya and KL. Dorne, Meereen and Winterfell are shit. S4 was also not nearly as good as I remembered and you can the writing got very lazy starting that season.
