Outside of a small handful of exceptions any film series that makes it to three entries is cash grabbing trash and entertainment oriented cinema that is made to collect money is classed as capeshit by default. The Godfather is the only example I can think of of a series with 2 good entries and one bad one that isn't capeshit.
