This show appeals to MCU NTS fanboys who love anything with he marvel logo on, regardless of how good or bad it is.
Marvel has a wealth of characters and they're leading with this? and SHEILD a show about spies that has now turned into capeshit with " inhuman characters that no one gives a shit about. Marvels most wanted? A show about mockingbird who was only semi-interesting because she was the wife of Hawkeye in the comics and isn't even that in this TV universe.
It's not that marvel can't do good tv shows.. like Daredevil and Jessica Jones, but ABC shows are useless. You don't' need to watch these shows, they have minuscule links to the Marvel Universe and all they do is damage the Marvel brand when people watch this shit weekly and see how crap it is, compared to The Flash and Supergirl.
If you're a Marvel fan, demand a Marvel show about Marvel characters, not some obscure peripheral characters. Put on Moon Knight or Cloak and Dagger.. if you really need to cater for a family show on ABC, put on Power Pack..

The problem is they can't. However with Disney bankrolling Marvel you get the ridiculous situation where they review the shows despite declining viewing figures and still churn out even more shit.
Who on Earth was clamouring for Marvels most wanted? They are two minor characters at best, it makes no sense whatsoever to have them leads for a show.
I refuse to watch this shit DC has done a better job, The flash is superb. Simply the best tv comic book adaptation to date. Supergirl is good, it's gotten into a groove. Arrow is ok, unfortunately it's turned from dark grity S1 and s2 to a soap opera in this latest season, hope it gets back on track and Legends is utter Garbage.
Daredevil is great. Jessica jones better than expected for a relatively obscure character. expect Power man and Iron fist to follow in the same vein.
DC have had more experience with TV and it shows. COnstantine was really good, even Gotham is better then Sheild and Agent Carter.

Because people liked her in The First Avenger. So they gave her a little short when they were doing those One Shot extras on the DVDs and people liked that, too. So they gave her a show to fill the winter break on Agents of SHIELD. Marvel has a fair amount of devotion to its secondary characters in that regard. Look at Phil Coulson, Jasper Sitwell and Felix Blake. Coulson was supposed to be just a quick little walk-on role in Iron Man, he became a fan favorite, a major reason for the formation of the Avengers and the star of his own show. Sitwell & Blake could have just been one-time characters in another of those little One-Shots, but they got recurring roles on Agents of SHIELD and Sitwell got to appear in The Winter Soldier.

Coulson's a special case. He's essentially the MCU original character from inception that tied everything together. I think even before he got popular he had a sort of plot armour from that already.

He really didn't. He was really intended only to appear in Iron Man as a means to introduce SHIELD, just a quick walk-on role for a veteran character actor. People liked him, so they wrote him into Iron Man 2 and Thor, and the rest is history. If there hadn't been strong fan response, he would have likely been replaced by generic SHIELD agents in those roles.
Likewise with Peggy, her story could have been ended with credits roll of The First Avenger, but they chose to devote more resources to her because of strong response, and frankly, allowed her to become a cornerstone of the MCU's history.

It's not a great show nor a shit show, but it's pretty much an useless show. It has no goal beyond fan service and a pseudo feminist agenda to content some SJW crowd.
It brings nothing to the table we haven't seen before. There's not much originality in there, a better production value than AoS but only barely. The main cast is decent and frankly is the only thing keeping it from drowning.
I didn't even bother with S2 because after S1 I know exactly what I'm in for and it's fucking boring and been done to death on tv already.
