Four eyes saved him from being in one of the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises(I think as I'm not sure if the snake was nagreene). Each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the seriesüf only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but itüfs certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. I trudged through one of the Harry Potter novels to get to sleep one night, and every novel with a dragon in it has made me feel like storytime at daycare. I’ve noticed more plebs come out of public schools than catholic, and most students are public school educated. We all know how wonderful of a job the public education system does of enrichment in the arts and humanities. Could not being exposed to a wide array of enriching art and literature have an impacton thedeveloping brain? Also, could other factors like the widespread use of antidepressants in adolescence play a role? I know certain drugs like Celexa affect creative processing, and hence the ability to enjoy innovative content. Marijuana also has this same affect according to Harvard studies, could its widespread use during brain development stunt emotional growth? How are plebs able to stay perpetually stuck at 12 years old emotionally, hence flooding the market with pre-teen garbage? Is there a link to the rising prevalence of autism? What are the contributing factors and how can they be remedied?
