When Jungle Book Origins was announced Disney hadn't announced plans for theirs and it was supposed to be directed by Inarritu, but after a couple years of delays it's being directed by Andy Serkis and is getting beat to the box office by a live action version of the most iconic take on The Jungle Book. Warner Bros is fucked.
The trailer was amazing, mostly the music. I feel like since obviously the disney one is sticking with their animated story, the Serkis one will probably try to be more faithful to the actual story. Should be interesting.
