Season 3 is where 90% of the best of MST3K resides. The show hit its stride there and pretty much every episode that season was very strong.
Pod People. Cave Dwellers. Master Ninja I & II. Sandy Frank's Japanese dubs, especially the Gamera films. Even It Conquered the World is goofy fun. Greatness.

They had to edit that film pretty badly. I know they always do it. But the film features cocaine in several scenes. It's why the guy is speeding and causes the crash.

They edited a lot of movies simply because of the show's running time- with ~90 minutes for an episode, and 5-10 minutes of that being host segments, they couldn't always fit everything even before considering stuff like that
space mutiny has a bunch of stock footage battlestar galactica space combat scenes that got purged because they really didn't add anything but runtime
