ITT: Essential Comfy-Core:

>>67824216

this one is god tier
>>67824168
"while sick as a kid
>Wild Hogs
UNDERAGE GET OUT! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Despite its shit IMDb rating this is a comfy 'feel-good' film about a homeless kid and his friend, a skateboarding chimp.
>>67824168
>>67824565
Wild Hogs came out in 2007
almost ten years ago
>>67824216
>dat Hitler scene
I watched it 3 times in one week before.
Almost every time I get sick I watch this movie. Both parts are just 10/10
>>67825092
Aaaall riiighty theen!
>>67825015
>>67825092
I see you guys have good taste
>>67824168
Are we there yet?
The Pacifier
>>67824849
Way to prove his point. If you were a teenager when Wild Hogs came out, then fine, but OP said he was a kid.
>>67824932
It wasn't that good..
I used to watch this every night in High School. It became such a habbit that it will always be my most comfy movie.
>>67825258
Teenagers are kids, I'd use those terms interchangeably
>>67824168
Gtfo underage
>>67824837
Holy fuck, this. I want to see this again now but I'm afraid it will dislodge memories of my childhood I'd rather not explore.
>>67825258
If he was 10 he'd be 19 now
>>67825361
But not when you were recently a teenager (and if you do you look dumb for trying to look mature). Checkmate.
>>67825435
Fuck how time works, OP is underage in my mind.
>>67825402
It holds up remarkably well, a very well made family movie, lots of stuff to enjoy as a kid with plenty of stuff that you'd get now as an adult.
>>67825240
My nigga

>>67825240
>>67825514
These are the opposite of comfy. These are cringe movies.
Secret of Nimh for me.
Are you all 12??? Wtf?
>>67824728
Isn't he a Ice Hockey chimp by the end?
Can somebody help me out.
I'm trying to think of the movie that starts out in live action when a boy goes into a library during a storm. Then he gets transformed into a cartoon
That movie was comfy AF
>>67825734
I thin thats MVP 1 you're thinking of
>>67825771
Pagemaster.
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken!
>>67825795
Oh right yeah the second one starts with him as the hockey chimp then he becomes skate chimp.
>>67825797
Thanks man
>>67825283
That's just like, your opinion. But either way, it's supreme comfy. The comfiest of disaster films. I can't be the only person that finds disaster movies comfy?
Goonie house still stands and is completely intact
This is as comfy as comfy gets for me.
>>67826127
Night of the Twisters
>>67825658
What's the animated movie with the trolls? But yeah I'd also add that, Feifel Goes West, We're Back, and Anastasia.
Also this. Casting was quite good despite Mayans somehow getting in there.
>>67824168
>all these post 2000s movies
what the fuck?
>matilda
>casper
>home alone 2
>jumanji
>hook
you don't need any other movies brehs
>>67826163
>thought the thumbnail was Pink Panther
>it's not
>"made by the producers of Pink Panther"
How? Is it the font?
>>67826245
I honestly never liked Hook. I can't explain it.
>>67826245
>Ghost and Mr. Chicken
1966
>>67824168
>using a literal 1/10 movie as comfycore
>>67826287
Probably Peter Sellers got you thinking that, although acting, while still comedic, is nothing alike.
>>67826341
I heard people say that lots of times. I still think that it is 100% comfy solely because of the fact that all the sets weren't computer animated and beautifully designed
the atmosphere is just goat-tier
now if you don't casper, not even jesus can help you
>>67826177
Never saw it. Pic related is second comfiest disaster film (no matter how much I hate Nick Cage). It's those hugging scenes and acceptance and hope-after-the-storm feels that get me.
>>67826552
Never saw it. Rate?
>>67825092
wanted to post this
part 2 is easily my favorite comedy
>>67824168
Comfiest of the comfy coming through.
>>67826606
not him, but I'd give it a solid 7
cage just plays cage, but god damn if I didn't feel eerie at some points
>>67825435
>I was 12 in 2007
>I'm 21 now
jesus, time flies.
>>67826788
Part 2 gets a lot of hate. I have no idea why. Maybe because the princess gets AVALANCHED
>>67826606
>>67826836
I agree with the anon on 7, although the ending itself ups it by 3 points. It's like national treasure where he has to decode things to find out when the earth ends.
>>67826552
pretty much >>67826836
you can love or hate nicholas cage but knowing fucking has something that makes it great
especially the ending is very interesting
>>67826888
>Maybe because the princess gets AVALANCHED
I had to ask my parents some uncomfortable questions after this
>>67826888
>Part 2 gets a lot of hate.
fucking where? Part 2 blows the first movie out of the water
>>67825015
This, shame the 2nd movie has none of the charm but all of the shlock
>>67826888
it gets hate?
It's one of those movies I never see or hear anyone talk about
and I don't go and google it or something
it literally had no bad parts, and it's jim carrey at his best. What's there to hate?

>>67824728
EXPAND DONG XDDDD
I WOULD LIKE TO HOLD MY LITTLE HAND
>>67824837
Mouse Hunt is the definition of an uncomfy movie for me. I really liked it on the first watch, but a few years later my younger brother went through a phase where he'd watch it multiple times a day.
I used to have bad dreams about flavoured twine, about it getting stuck in my stomach and balling up and blocking my intenstines. Every time I'd walk past the loungeroom it would be on and my brother would barely be paying attention.
Every time the movie finished he'd go and do something else but leave the TV on so the DVD menu kept playing on repeat, over and over. Some mornings I'd wake up to it with the volume blaring and I'd lie half awake in torment listening to it.
>>67827562
Holy fuck look at all the lack of detail!!
>>67824168
>>67827641
Ice Age 1 goes for style, not realism
>>67826026
Has anyone seen/heard of this?
I guess I had a tooth pulled or something and the dentist gave me some pain killers. Mom picked this baby up on the way home and it was pure bliss.
>>67825514
I lost my virginity while the pacifier was playing on tv.
Anyone watching the Royals game tonight?
Ultimate Comfy coming through
who /scaredofjunkyardmagnets/ here?
>>67827960
nope, I did watch The Incredible Mr. Limpet a lot as a kid though.
>>67826552
i actually liked this movie
>>67824216
I've seen this like 5 times
this movie makes me laugh really hard idk why
OP here, im 20 - is that underage on /tv/? I guess my brain hasnt developed enough to Banepost and critique capeshit.
The Wild Hogs DVD was my only source of joy, huddled in a rainy caravan in Wales with ice cream & tonsilitis. If that's not comfy then hell, I don't know what is.

Next (2007)
by Nick Cage
Has Biel, love it when it involves precognition/similar stuff.
>>67832873
this is essential cagecore
really good
>>67828959
I wore out two VHS tapes of this as a kid, and one of the few that I've rewatched as an adult and still loved
>tfw you will never hang out at Cyberdelia with your qt hacker girlfriend
>tfw you will never hack the planet
>>67832873
Are there any hot scenes with Biel?

My grandma had this, The Reluctant Astronaut, and The Apple Dumpling Gang on a VHS tape.
this takes me back.
