The people running the tests (basically just observing her) were the ones trying to help her learn language and integrate her into society. They were good scientists trying to help her. Some of them even took her in.
However, as soon as her Mother forbade the scientists, there was no one to help her, because her family was so fucked up. Without the scientists all the progress she had made was lost, and she made no further progress. She was just a normal ward of the state moving around foster homes, many of them abusive. Poor woman.

I've been meaning to get into wrestling for quite a while, my friend showed me a bunch of videos and his various DVDs and I've been playing a lot of the N64 games like no mercy and I'm starting to really love wrestling. I've heard many negatives of modern day wrestling but should I still bother watching or should I start somewhere in particular?

NJPW, Progress and PWG are some good promotions to check out if you want to see legitimately good matches, while Lucha Underground is like an actually good wrestling television show (The WWE done right).
